First introduced in 1960, the series was produced for the ‘Time Life’ building in New York but soon saw popularity in many other business offices. Available as a lounge/reception chair too, which was the first iteration of these wonderful chairs, the extra comfort it offered over the ‘Aluminium series’ ensured they were the premium option for all CEOs, directors, executives and so on and now you have the chance to enjoy the same feel with this wonderful example!
Individual Characteristics
This particular example has been used in an office environment and does show the expected signs of age and wear that goes along with this. This, however, is only surface level/the corners which is to be expected. The arms show some small signs of age with some minor aging showing but there is no cracking or breaking through on them.
The label on the underside indicates that this chair was produced in 2008 by Herman Miller.
