European ephemera, largely catalogs and brochures, echo the timing and ranges seen in North America, but only since 1957 when licenses with European manufacturers were agreed. Products & corresponding ephemera were released under the name ‘Herman Miller International Collection’ by manufacturers including Fehlbaum (later Vitra), Hille, ICF, Immobilier & Contura until the 1980’s. Note the nuances that exist with European products, with the use of Chrome instead of brushed Aluminum as one example.
