Synopsis: Supersonic Guitars Volume II is an LP record by Billy Mure, released in 1959 by MGM Records. The LP was a follow up to the moderately successful Supersonic Guitars (volume 1) LP release of 1957. The Sleeve front cover of the LP features a close in full color photograph of the Eames ‘Do Nothing Machine’ a solar powered curio conceived by Charles and Ray Eames for the Alcoa Aluminum company. The ‘Do Nothing’ machine was a visual masterpiece with countless working components powered merely by the sun and which resulted in absolutely nothing but the wonder of how it all worked. The rear of the LP also features an illustration of part of the Eames machine. Billy Mure was an accomplished guitarist that released a string of records in the swing, lounge, pop and easy listening genres, and also appeared as a session musician for a number of hit releases.
