Synopsis: To coincide with the opening for the first time of the Miller House & Gardens in Columbus Ohio in May 2011, Dwell produced this quality booklet with a full color introduction to the living museum, written and photographed by Leslie Williamson. The booklet provides an all-round view of the building and its mid-century interior which had been perfectly preserved. Designed by Eero Saarinen, the interior is lavished with fabrics and draperies by Alexander Girard as well as furniture pieces by Saarinen, Charles Eames, George Nelson & others. In addition, the booklet also carries an 8 page article on the Eames Aluminum Group to coincide with the relaunch of the ‘indoor – outdoor’ elements of the range, the original intention of the design when first released in 1958. This article carries 8 pages of significant introduction including Charles Eames quotes and original imagery from the 1950’s.
