Synopsis: This offering was a catalog, brochure and price book all rolled into one and utilizing the modern layout that stretches in similar form, right until the 2020’s. It was part of a set and accompanied the ‘seating’ book of the same year and design. This and its sister seating book were entirely focused on the workplace furniture market and is dominated by Herman Miller’s office offerings of the time. Countless pages are dedicated to the ‘Burdick Group’, ‘Relay’ and ‘Newhouse Group’ ranges. But a good sixty plus pages feature the ever-present and super versatile Eames table ranges of the Contract, Universal and Segmented Base designs. A ‘Herman Miller for the Home’ range had been rebranded and released a year prior in 1994, so this book was completely geared to the commercial sector.
