Synopsis: This bound brochure designed for showrooms is essentially a condensed compilation of the photograph image pages of seating from the 1964 Herman Miller Binder Catalog. The seating images cover the entirety of the Eames fiberglass, wire, Alu Group, Time Life and plywood chairs. It houses some of the finest colour and black and white photograph images taken of Eames designs in the period. Some of these include famous photos used in advertising campaigns such as the color La Fonda series, Stacking DSS chairs and the populated A frame, as used for the cover. Other pages outline the range of seating options with design names and abbreviations, dimensions, and some options. The brochure was very much intended as a visual introduction of products to customers without going into deep technical data.
