Synopsis: Post millennium catalogs from Herman Miller sport a little-known change in the company logo. In 1999 the ‘H’ and the ‘M’ in the company name were capitalized, fresh for the new century ahead. The brochure pages also went through something of a revamp, with modern layouts, color photography and smart fold out sections all introduced for the 21st century. The success of the re-introduced Eames classics in the previous decade make up much of the Eames related content of the catalog, then at only 17% of all pages. The smart white and red binder cover opens out to reveal smartly organized categories and each product design separately showcased on a two, four or six page removable section. The Eames table designs feature heavily along with the Tandem Sling Seating system.
