Synopsis: By the end of this decade, Herman Miller was running very distinct split marketing strategies aimed at both the domestic customer (with Herman Miller for the Home) and the workplace. By this point in time, Miller had already established itself as a market leader in the supply of commercial office-based furniture and it made complete sense to separate the two markets. But some (or perhaps even all) Eames designs do tend to cross over into both commercial and domestic. This beautifully made brochure, sporting a dark black cover with central logo, is focused on the office market and features such series as the Action Office, Aeron Chair, Ergon Chair & Burdick Group. But the ever present Eames Segmented Tables, Aluminum Group Office Chairs, Tandem Sling Seating and Eames Lounge Chair are all showcased here too.
