Synopsis: A striking White Herman Miller ‘M’ logo sits atop a black background for the cover page of this catalog, made specifically for Chairs. The brochure is dominated with the designs of Charles and Ray Eames with only one other chair (the Swag Leg by George Nelson & Associates) being the other to appear. It follows the same design as the ‘Illustrated Price list’ brochures with icon image of the product, provided with the finish options and pricing across a single line. Most pages are dedicated to Eames fiberglass arm and side chairs but there is room for the wire series and plywood chairs in addition. With Chairs and seating being the most popular and commercially successful, it is no surprise for Herman Miller to release dedicated brochures such as this one in addition to those in the main portfolio.
