Synopsis: This print advert was set out with two separate full color photographs alongside a side section with text and cut out mailer section. Perhaps the most striking element is what the eye immediately gets drawn to, the Eames Lounge Chair & Ottoman. The chair stands alongside what appears to be a Napoleon bust atop an aged cabinet. The side text then remarks that ‘whether you are in love with Louis XV or Charles Eames, if you have electricity, Lightolier has the fixture’. The message of the advert was twofold, with association of contemporary and popular modern design of the Eames Lounge Chair, alongside the versatility of lighting to suit any environment and interior.
