Login to ask a questionThis authentic Eames lounge chair and ottoman has soft, beautiful, black leather with no visible cracking. The wood is also in very good vintage condition, and overall, the chair is in good condition especially given its age.
Both patent labels are intact on the base of the chair and ottoman, however, the Herman Miller labels have fallen off, but the rectangle where it would have been is visible. There is also a visible date stamp on one of the patent labels showing "Nov 1976."
My parents bought this chair from a vintage shop in NJ some 40 years ago, and two separate experts have identified that the chair was repaired at some point in its earlier life (before we had it).

As the above condition points were recently brought to my attention, the chair may need the shock mounts replaced at some point (apparently quite common for this model chair), I have reduced the price from the original listing.
