Login to ask a questionA post-1971 Herman Miller Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman has four cushions in total: head rest, middle back, seat, and ottoman. This set contains a replacement back for each — so an upholsterer can restore every panel across both pieces in a single session, with nothing to source separately and no reason to return to the job later.
When the plastic backing fails, it's rarely isolated to one panel. Replacing all four together gives a consistent result and removes the risk of a second failure interrupting a restoration that's already underway.
Compatible with post-1971 Herman Miller Eames Lounge Chairs and Ottoman only. Not suitable for Vitra models, pre-1971 Herman Miller, or 'Tall' Herman Miller versions.
If clips are also damaged, 16 are needed for the full set (3 + 3 + 5 + 5) — available in the cushion clip listings, including a matching 16-clip complete set.
