Cracking typically starts around the clip mounting holes, and once it goes, the cushion can't sit flush against the shell. This replacement back lets an upholsterer resolve the problem directly — unpick the seam, swap the damaged back, re-stitch — without touching the leather or fabric.
Compatible with post-1971 Herman Miller Eames Lounge Chairs only. Not suitable for Vitra models, pre-1971 Herman Miller, or 'Tall' Herman Miller versions. Confirm your manufacture date before ordering.
