If your Eames fiberglass shell has narrow mount shock mounts, these are the brackets you need to connect it to a DSW / DAW dowel leg base. A direct replacement for worn, broken or missing originals — no conversion, no compromise, just the right part in the right place.
Each bracket inserts directly into the leg socket in place of the existing narrow mount fitting. Compatible with both Herman Miller and Vitra DSW / DAW dowel bases, replacement and original.
*Whilst they do fit the plastic shell chairs (which use slightly different fittings for the plastic lugs) they were originally designed for the flat mount found on the fiberglass editions.
