Login to ask a questionSingle owner and authentic and Vintage Rosewood Eames for Herman Miller Lounge Chair and Ottoman circa 1965–1971 in black leather. All original stickers on chair and ottoman (see pics). REPAIR & RESTORATION NEEDED, but great ROI: Needs new mid backrest (either re-build wing repair or new backrest part, including shockmounts - I would opt for new backrest panel if doing repair). Chair and Ottoman. Authentic Fully Original, rosewood veneer case and black leather cushions. Labeled. Wear commensurate with age, BUT read below for repairs and condition: Suffered the very common shock mount break on the right side wing. The chair can be easily repaired for ~$1300 by ordering new parts (four shockmounts and new rosewood back panel, link for back panel here and they will color match the rosewood plywood:

or working with a quality restorer to re-build break. It's an original (late 1960's or early 1970's) and fully authentic chair, see pics of stickers on back of chair and ottoman. Please no low ball offers from "restorers" offering to take off my hands for $1K or how chair will loose value with repair. DO THE MATH: make the repair and you'll have great ROI. Good examples go for $6000-$8000 on eBay and Facebook, so if you're willing to repair there is high ROI.
