Login to ask a questionEames chair and Ottoman by Herman Miller. My late fathers chair bought from new, we think in the 1980s. Excellent condition throughout apart from that small chip. He had it in a separate sitting room where the kids and other guests couldn't get to it!
Looking at the history of the chair it is not the first edition but we believe its the improved and more solid 2nd edition. it has the 5 ply wood with the Brazilian rosewood veneer and not the post 1990 7 ply version without the rosewood.
A very rare example in this condition and extremely comfortable
