This more unique finish sees the shell only have a cushion on the seat section which is a modern take to the upholstered style these shells are famed for.
The Eames shells have barely changed through their long life, retaining their modern feel with flare. The more recent approach has seen the reintroduction of the fiberglass shells and the new addition of the single seat cushion rather than a fully upholstered shell creating a new dynamic for this iconic chair.
Individual Characteristics
The newer white shell is in a good used condition with only some slight signs of use present on it.
The original, factory fitted, cushion is a very nice bold colour and will benefit from a small clean.
The label on the underside indicates this is a newer Herman Miller produced shell.
