Login to ask a questionThis original Herman Miller Eames Lounge Chair and ottoman is finished in sumptuous light grey leather which really shows off the golden hue of the oak wood. The combination of the gorgeous grey leather against the subtle finish of the oak wood creates a fantastic chair set.
The Eames Lounge Chair has seen constant production. Its striking design coupled with unparalleled comfort ensured it has remained both a highly desirable and highly modern piece of furniture to own. In its 60 year reign, the chair has seen little in the way of modification and it is only recently where Herman Miller and Vitra have introduced an alternative variant which is bigger to cater for the natural height increase in the average adult and have started to introduce new colours of leather and new fabric and wood options too!
Individual Characteristics
This set is a newer, used, example and but its condition is very good showing evidence that it has seen very little use. The leather still has a little bit more to get it ‘worn in’ and the oak wood shows only very minor signs of use to it.
The ottoman is in good used condition.
The sticker on the underside of the chair indicates this is a newer example of the Herman Miller and Eames Lounge Chair.
