Login to ask a questionA duo of vintage iconic chairs by Herman Miller. These original black leather EA318 Eames Office Chairs on adjustable castor base make the perfect desk chairs. Perfect for any office environment, these particular chairs are the ‘Management’ edition due to having the adjustable castor base; which still works very well.
The earliest style of the Eames aluminium range began life as both an indoor and outdoor chair. It was soon realized, however, that the design of these chairs make them perfect for the office workspace due to their being comfortable, practical and stylish chairs.
Individual Characteristics
The leather on these chairs is in an aged, used, condition, there are signs of use on the edges and on the arms which give it an aged character. The chairs do utilize different rolling castors as seen in the images.
The metal does show signs of its age and may benefit from a good polish, but this is only visual and does not affect the structural integrity of the chair. The purple arms are a little aged but the colour is still good.
The label on the underside indicates these chairs were produced by Herman Miller.
