The range of colours the Eames fiberglass shells were eventually released in created a true understanding that they were highly versatile chairs. From professional to home environments, the choice of colours meant that you could either create that defining statement piece or simply just have that chair to support you during that all important meeting. This diversity helped cement them in the annuals of design history and has maintained their popularity.
Individual Characteristics
The shell is in a great used condition with only light signs of its age present. The depth of colour is amazing and is highly consistent throughout it.
The newer, used, RAR base is in a good condition with only very minor signs of use on it.The C with the 5 pointed star on the underside indicates this is a Cincinnati Milicron shell produced by Herman Miller between 1965 and 1978; please note, the patent label itself may not be present.
