This is a rare and fine example of a 1st generation rocker with a fiberglass shell produced by Zenith with a rope edge and large shock mounts, shells that were only produced for a few years during the earliest years of production of these iconic chairs. The chair dates to approximately 1950.
There are no chips or cracks in the fiberglass shell. This is a fine vintage example of one of the most popular designs by Ray and Charles Eames.
