Login to ask a questionA widely used and versatile base, this is an original, vintage, replacement glide foot Contract base for the Eames Herman Miller Arm and Side shell chair series. This makes the perfect PSC or PAC chair, and also features the height adjustable function and original glides, excellent for any home office or office space.
Originally designed to be used in the office space, the base was also produced with glides to mimic the Aluminum Series of chairs also designed by the Eames’s. The massive advantage the Contract base offers is that the top can be switched easily meaning you can swap between an arm or side shell.
It is important to note that this base is missing its feet and is the height adjustable version price does reflect this. Further images are available upon request.
