This model is the LKX-1, the lounge height, single piece upholstery, wire chair. It was made by Herman Miller, with "Patent Pending" stamp on the metal. The original label underneath indicates, this example was assembled by careful craftsmen at 901 Washington Boulevard, Venice, California.
