The Aluminium range from the Eames Office were a truly impactful design. Versions of the chairs are still used in many offices across the globe and the lounge style chair proves to be just as popular. To keep up with the modern demand within society, the bases adapted from 4-star constructions to 5 – for added stability – and, more recently, the gas lift height adjustment has been added.
Individual Characteristics
As a used, newer, version of this beautiful design, it is in a very good condition. The arms and base do show some signs of its use, but it is nothing more than is to be expected with a workhorse of a chair!
