Synopsis: The updated Herman Miller Seating brochure and price book of June 1990 continues the style and theme as those employed in the latter years of the 1980’s. The cover was changed from yellow to red to help with differentiating it from the older editions and prices were updated for the new decade ahead. The Eames content remained deeply rooted in their designs that were first and foremost considered ‘work based’ furniture. The later years shell chairs all had work-based solutions in mind with universal caster bases, desk chairs and DSS stacking models. The Aluminum Group and Soft Pad ranges had been refined into the perfect office and lobby choices and even the Lounge Chair & Ottoman, Compact, Teak Sofas and Chaise longue could be deployed there too. A well designed and modern brochure catalog with a high level of technical detail and content, easy to follow and navigate through.
