Synopsis: This small two-page release captured a mightily significant development in the evolution of the hugely successful Eames fiberglass plastic chairs. Throughout the 1950’s the popular Eames plastic chairs were only available in six base colors of Red-Orange, Seafoam Green, Greige, Parchment and Elephant Grey. The 1960 expansion of the range saw an additional six standard colors added, along with another sixteen for contract & commercial purchases in a minimum quantity. One page each of this brochure was dedicated to the standard and commercial colors of the newly expanded range and both provide a color swatch and new abbreviation order code.
