Synopsis: The 1962 incarnation of the Herman Miller Illustrated Price List is one of the most memorable editions. It has a ‘zebra like’ striped cover and thick card pages with designs wonderfully encapsulated within orange sections. It is very well thought out in design and provides the reader everything they need to know about a product, the technical dimensions, list price, finishes and upholstery options. The 1962/1963 catalogs are those that preceded the first large binder that came in 1964. It consisted of a series of brochures for specific ranges of the Herman Miller portfolio with this, the illustrated price list, being the overall summary of those accompanying booklets.
