This set contains two replacement backs — one for the head rest, one for the middle back — covering the entire chair back in a single purchase. An upholsterer can work through both cushions in the same session: unpick, swap, re-stitch, done.
Buying both together is the practical approach during any thorough chair back restoration. Replacing one and leaving the other risks the same failure recurring shortly after.
Compatible with post-1971 Herman Miller Eames Lounge Chairs only. Not suitable for Vitra models, pre-1971 Herman Miller, or 'Tall' Herman Miller versions.
