Login to ask a questionThe middle back cushion on a post-1971 Herman Miller Eames Lounge Chair sits between the head rest and the seat — and like the other panels, its plastic backing is vulnerable to cracking around the clip mounting holes. A failed back means the cushion can't be held securely against the shell. This replacement part lets an upholsterer address that directly: unpick the seam, fit the new back, re-stitch, and the cushion is back in service.
Compatible with post-1971 Herman Miller Eames Lounge Chairs only. Not suitable for Vitra models, pre-1971 Herman Miller, or 'Tall' Herman Miller versions. Confirm your manufacture date before ordering.
