Once the back fails, the cushion can't be secured to the shell correctly. This replacement part addresses that directly, without the expense of sourcing a new cushion.
The seat and ottoman cushion backs are the same size, so this single part covers either panel. An upholsterer can unpick the seam, swap the damaged back for this replacement, and re-stitch — preserving the original leather or fabric in the process.
Compatible with post-1971 Herman Miller Eames Lounge Chairs only. Not suitable for Vitra models, pre-1971 Herman Miller, or 'Tall' Herman Miller versions.
