Perfect for the professional environment, the base we designed with the designer in mind and features swivel, footrest and castors to make that project easier.
The perfect replacement or even a useful extra for any narrow mount side shell and arm shell, this base is a testament to the versatility of the famous Eames fiberglass shell chair series and contributed to the long success they saw. This version was the second edition of the base first made available in 1966.
Individual Characteristics
As an original, vintage, base, there is some natural patina present. It would benefit from a good polish and clean up, but otherwise it is in a strong and sturdy condition with the swivel, manual height adjustment and castors all working as they should.
