Login to ask a questionThe original Eames Lounge Chair and ottoman for Herman Miller has retained its timeless feel with this classic cream leather cradled by the deep walnut finish. This unmistakably comfortable design has managed to maintain its strong popular demand by mixing classic finishes like this with newer slightly more modern ones.
The original Eames lounge chair was designed as a luxurious piece to really ‘lounge’ in and it saw much success thanks to its excellent build quality and superior comfort. This success ensured its continued production from its origin in the mid-1950s.
The chairs have now also been introduced in a newer taller variant which utilizes the same leathers and wood finishes of the standard version but adds a few more centimetres of height to its backrest creating a slightly deeper chair.
Individual Characteristics
The chair and ottoman are second hand examples and so the leather and wood does show some small signs of this in places, which is to be expected as an ex-display model.
Please note, the finish of the wood may differ slightly to that shown in the images, further pictures can be provided upon request.
The sticker on the underside of the chair indicates this is a newer lounge chair and ottoman set.
