Second Generation
The second generation was produced for only a few months in 1954-1955
This is the SAX (standard model)
This version features the rare X base
Color and Material
“Greige” color with beautifully distinct fiberglass texturing
The legs are tubular steel and have minor wear
Only 6 colors were produced in small quantities in California
Please note color may be slightly different due to lighting conditions in my photos
Condition
This chair is in amazing condition for its age and is completely usable! There are no major flaws - no breakage, staining, holes, or major dents whatsoever!
The legs’ connection requires 2 bolts - which can be purchased from any hardware store. There are no caps on the bottom of the legs, so you may want to add those for your floor’s well-being.
