RAR bases remain very iconic in its meticulous metal rod design, complete with a beautiful, natural light Ash wood rocking base. Firm and sturdy, this rocking base, attached to beautiful Eames fibreglass shell chairs, will make a fantastic addition to the comfort of your homes.
The original RAR base discontinued in 1968, which only came in 4 variations: Zinc and Black oxide for the frame, and Birch or Walnut for the base runners. Now it is available in 2 new beautiful woods, including Walnut and light Ash.
If bought in large quantities, bases may be deconstructed – instructions will be provided
The dimensions of the top of the frame from hole to hole are roughly:
Front to front (middle to middle): 18.75cm
Rear to rear (middle to middle): 12cm
Front to rear (middle to middle): 17.75cm
