Login to ask a questionThe original Eames office chair for Herman Miller. This lovely dark grey original EA335 office chair’s an excellent example of the classic and timeless design. In very good, lightly used condition, this chair is the perfect piece to help you along with that challenging project or with working through those reports.
It seems almost normal, now, but before the Eames office chair the work environment was a bit, samey. The introduction of this iconic piece revolutionised the environment, but, it was originally intended to be used as an outdoor chair; being offered in a mesh finish in place of the leather! It was only through a minor re-focussing of where the chair would work best that it found its way into the workplace!
Individual Characteristics
As a used, newer, version of this beautiful design, it is in a very good condition. The arms and base do show some signs of its use but it is nothing more than is to be expected with a fifteen year old chair!
