Ray Eames' July 1943 cover for Art & Architecture is certainly one of the most well known of the series, with the American Eagle and the wartime message of buying war bonds to help the cause.
Ray Eames designed 26 original covers between April 1942 and December 1947 for the LA based Art & Architecture Magazine run by then family friend John Entenza. They are very collectible and even rarer to find these days.
Not only is this issue one of the most desirable it is also in a super condition, with only minor wear you might expect on a journal over 70 years old.
